God said, delay is not denial!

Earlier today, I was sitting in my bedroom and felt the urge to pray. I had already had my special devotion time with the Lord and was preparing to do something entirely different. But, right then, I was compelled to drop everything and seek God.

As I obeyed Him, He gave me a brief word to share with you, and here it is: what has been delayed is not denied. God is yet working.

Satan wants to keep you discouraged and he hopes to convince you that slow change means no change, and delay equals denial. But the devil is, just as he always has been, a liar. Furthermore, he is the father of lies, and there is no truth in him (John 8:44).

On the other hand, it is impossible for God to lie, which, according to Hebrews 6:18, gives believers the strong encouragement we need to hold fast to hope.

God wants you to stop worrying about how long the breakthrough is taking to manifest, and focus on the fact that His promises don’t expire. Whatever He said shall come to pass, no matter how long it takes. Delay does NOT mean denial!

During my time of fellowship and communion with the Lord today, he led me to a familiar Scripture in Daniel 10. In this passage, Daniel was in mourning and was praying to God for understanding. For 21 days, he fasted, didn’t groom himself and sought the Lord earnestly.

Finally, in a vision, after three weeks of travailing, a messenger of the Lord showed up and delivered wonderful news to Daniel. He told him in verses 12-13, God had heard and answered Daniel’s prayer immediately despite forces of darkness opposing the revelation of that answer. The prince of the kingdom of Persia, a spiritual entity, fought against this divine messenger for 21 days, delaying the manifestation of God’s answer.

On that day, however, the delay came to a swift end. It was Daniel’s set time of manifestation. And friend, your set time of manifestation is coming too.

Don’t be discouraged by the delay, and don’t be weary in well-doing. As the latter half of Galatians 6:9 says, which is what I’m stirring into your cup of inspiration, “…we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Now, let’s pray.

God, thank You for sending this much-needed word to remind me that delay is not denial, and You will show up mightily in my circumstances. I praise You for confirming that You have heard my prayer and will manifest the answers I have been desperately waiting to receive. In the meantime, I will continue to trust You and hold fast to Your promises, for You are ever faithful and true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you desire prayer, please allow me, along with my intercessory prayer team, to stand in faith with you for breakthrough. We would be so honored. We have seen God work over and over again. There is power in agreement. Click here to request prayer now.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
