Holiday Hiatus
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! If you’re a loyal member of the Your Daily Cup of Inspiration family, our team is grateful that you have spent 2019 with us. Dianna Hobbs is going on a much-needed holiday hiatus. And here is when you can expect the blog and podcast to return.
When God commands a blessing...
If you are facing something difficult that is beyond your control today, this word is for you. Don’t worry, because Jesus is standing by. He has taken notice of your situation, and He is placing His hand upon you. He is speaking new life into your circumstances and flexing His power!
Go at God’s pace
This is such an important word for the visionary and any person who feels stagnant or frustrated by where they currently are. You may want to go higher and reach your goals faster, but there is a reason why God has you going at this pace. Read this, and be encouraged.
Things are opening up for you
If you need something opened in your life, the Lord is reminding you that He yet removes blockages that hinder breakthroughs, and God is commanding some things to open up for you now. He’s speaking to closed doors, inaccessible opportunities, and He’s commanding them to open.
God is giving you supernatural strength
What are you going through? How do you need God to manifest Himself in your circumstances? He will do it. There is no problem too big. There is no mountain too high. There is no challenge too great. There is no obstacle too imposing. He’s supernaturally strengthening you now!
However long it takes
Know that, if God said it, as I always tell you, it has to happen. When things are moving slowly in your life, tell yourself: However long it takes, I will trust God; however long it takes, I will believe; however long it takes, I will confess God’s promises; however long it takes, I refuse to give up.
Streams will flow
Even if you’re going through a season of lack right now, rest in knowing that God will cause streams to flow to you. His word to you is, “Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”
God will help you reach your goal
Got a goal or dream that seems out of reach? Don’t worry. In today’s inspiration, Dianna Hobbs reminds you that when you are anointed, called, and destined to do something, God will flex His power for you and will see to it that you are able to grab hold of everything He has for you!
Your storm must obey God
This word is God’s way of reminding you that He is greater than your storm, and He is yet in control. The winds cannot blow more forcefully than He allows. The waves can’t crash against you more violently than He allows. The storm cannot last longer than He allows. It must obey Him.
Ask for and expect overflow
God loves to bless you so you can bless others. In today’s encouragement, Dianna Hobbs says, start asking Him for overflow. Believe Him to open Heaven’s floodgates and give you the kind of blessing you won’t have room to receive. Trust Him to enlarge you and expand you!
God neutralizes the enemy
While it may be true that you’re under attack, it isn’t true that this will destroy you. The Lord may allow the struggle, but He also knows right when to neutralize the enemy and put a shield of protection, favor, and strength around you. Trust God to take care of you. You have no need to worry!
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 28
When we feel like we can’t do something, we tend to complain. The next time you’re facing a task too great for you to handle, remember that the Great I Am is with you. And when you feel the urge to complain about your insufficiency, choose instead to praise God for His all-sufficiency.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 27
On our faith journey, sometimes things bother us, and they trigger an emotional flare-up. We cry, complain, fuss, and get agitated, because we don’t like the circumstances. That’s why we need the word of God. It helps calm negative emotional responses to trouble and keeps us grateful.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 26
The writer said in Psalm 77:12, “I will reflect on all You have done and ponder Your mighty deeds.” Reflecting, which means to think deeply or carefully about something, is incredibly helpful when you focus on God’s word and His goodness.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 25
Suffering makes us want to complain—whether we are the cause of it or not—but either way, it is good for us. If you are going through a trying season, trust God through it, and remain confident that He will bring you into a new season of blessings and favor at the appointed time.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 24
Affliction: it hurts, it’s hard to deal with, and we don’t like it. And yet, it is extraordinarily effective as a way to grow us up in the things of God and conform us into the image of Christ. If you are going through something troubling, thank God for it anyway, because in the end, you’ll be better for it.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 23
What the enemy won’t tell you is that God has predetermined the path of your life, and all you need to do is follow Him. When you gratefully and humbly work to the best of your ability to do what pleases Him, and trust Him to place you in the position He has ordained for you, He elevates you.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 22
Are you complaining when you should be thanking God? Sometimes, God is trying to bless us, but it doesn’t look like what we want, so we complain and reject it. If we were more grateful and opened our hearts to receive, God could give us more good things.
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 21
Despite having promises from God that it will be well with you in the future, have you gotten all worked up and complained about an attack? An uncomfortable season? An unresolved issue? A hard task? A momentary inconvenience? If so, here is how you break that cycle!
28 Days of Gratitude: Day 20
God never promised everything would be easy. However, He did promise that He would cause everything to work together for our good when we love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Therefore, thank God that He is causing all this unpleasant stuff to work out for your good.
