Just trust Jesus

My son Kedar’s eyes lit up in the kitchen this morning.

“Oh my goodness! It’s so good,” he said, expressing his approval of the taste of eggs and hot sauce. My 17-year-old said he had heard from many people that this combination was pretty tasty. But Kedar had never tried it himself until today.

Now, personally, I’ve never had hot sauce on my eggs. Since I have a pretty low tolerance for spicy foods, I likely won’t be trying this despite its rave reviews. Kedar, on the other hand, will probably never have his morning eggs without hot sauce again.

It was love at first taste for him.

As I listened to Kedar explain that his curiosity about the delicious concoction was piqued because of the power of word of mouth, I thought about how effective it is when we testify about things. Whether we’re sharing positive reviews about our favorite meal, a product we’ve used, or the power of God in our lives, though everyone won’t be convinced to try what we suggest, somebody will.

That’s why I constantly testify about the goodness of the Lord. I understand the power of word of mouth. I tell everybody I can just how good God is, how powerful He is, how reliable He is, and how amazing He is. I know somebody will give Him a try when they hear my testimony!

When I was sick in the hospital last year, and doctors gave me a bad report, God worked a miracle and defied all their predictions. I testified in the hospital and have been testifying ever since.

Friend, when you want a taste of divine healing, breakthrough, and deliverance, do what Psalm 34:8 NKJV says: “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”

If you want to be blessed, don’t just try Jesus, but trust Jesus. When you trust Him, He will reward you, favor you, provide for you, heal you, turn things around, and give you an awesome testimony to declare to others.

Your faith will produce a miracle. Just keep trusting God!
— Dianna Hobbs

Right now, you may be facing a set of circumstances that you don’t know how to fix or handle. If so, God is sending this word to let you know that He’s able. Just have faith, and you will see Him do the impossible and work miracles for you.

No matter how worrisome or difficult the circumstance is, I’m stirring the command Jesus gave to Jairus, the man who needed Jesus to heal his sick daughter. The Master said in Mark 5:36, "Don't be afraid! Just believe."

As you drink down the contents of your cup, choose to put all your trust in the Lord. When you do, you will see Him move by His power as He did for Jairus whose daughter was healed by faith.

And after you have experienced a miraculous shift, you will move forward with your own life-transforming testimony and be an even more powerful witness for Christ.

Now, let’s pray.

God, I trust You through whatever, because You are able to do anything. I believe You will turn my situation around. And when You do, I will testify of Your goodness and Your power to save and set free from any bondage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
