God will do the good things He promised

Recently, during a virtual meeting, a member of my social media team expressed how discouraged they were feeling, because they have not been able to resolve a Facebook issue that has kept the ministry locked out. Then, another team member offered them some encouragement and said, “Don’t worry. The will of the Lord will be done.”

Amen to that! God’s will prevails in all things, even when things don’t seem to be going right.

If you’re subscribed to my mailing list and consistently read the emails sent out to you, then you are aware that no member of my staff has been able to access my official Facebook page (including me!) because of a security breach. The page has not been updated since October 29th.

We have been corresponding with Facebook representatives, providing answers to questions and submitting documentation as requested. But, as it stands now, no resolution has been reached, and we remain locked out. If you follow me on Facebook, you typically receive regular updates, inspirations, prayers, and links to devotions and podcasts. I love having an outlet for you to easily receive all these things which is why the Facebook issue is inconvenient and disruptive.

Nevertheless, a social media setback is the least of my concerns. The ministry is plowing ahead, and God is still moving by His power as He always does. I thank God for my social media team, however, doing an excellent job launching the “Empowering Everyday Women Official” Facebook page. Over there, we are continuing to share the uplifting messages God uses to inspire you. Feel free to follow.

In the grand scheme of things, a social media setback is small potatoes. No big deal at all. But there are times in life when you will face much bigger issues, struggles and problems. Distressing circumstances will try your patience, test your faith, and challenge your endurance. But no matter what, don’t lose hope. Trust God, and know that His purpose will prevail in all things.

Prepare for a season change, a shift to peace, prosperity and breakthrough. You will see God’s deliverance unfold and witness the manifestation of His purpose and promises.
— Dianna Hobbs

God reminded Jeremiah the Prophet that the Lord’s purpose would prevail in Jeremiah 33 while he was confined to prison. Despite the inconvenient and uncomfortable predicament Jeremiah found himself in, God assured him that every divine promise would come to pass. At the time, God’s judgment was against Judah for their sin of rebellion. As a result, God allowed the Babylonians to take them into captivity and destroy Jerusalem. But, at the appointed time, God said, “I will restore the prosperity of this land” (v. 11).

In spite of how things looked, in verse 14, God prophesied, “The day will come, says the LORD, when I will do for Israel and Judah all the good things I have promised them.”

And friend, just as the Israelites’ day of deliverance came, your day will come too, and God will do all the good things He promised you. God will restore. He will stretch forth His mighty hand of deliverance and lift you from the depths of the valley. He will save your loved ones. He will heal you. He will free you from bondage. He will increase you. He will manifest His glory. Good things are on the way that will leave you and others in awe of God’s graciousness and greatness!

To remind you of this truth, I’m stirring the latter portion of Jeremiah 33:9 NLT into your cup of inspiration, which says, “The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.”

As you drink down the contents of your cup, prepare for a season change, a shift to peace, prosperity and breakthrough. You will see God’s deliverance unfold and witness the manifestation of His purpose and promises. There’s so much the Lord is going to do for you. Your future is bright. As you wait for His word to manifest, don’t become discouraged by what you see today. Know that God is up to something so good, and stand on that.

Now, let’s pray.

God, my present situation may look discouraging, but I refuse to be discouraged, because my hope is in You. I know Your purpose will prevail, Your promises will be fulfilled, and my future will look much brighter than my today. By faith, thank You for all the good things You have in store for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
